Scott is a commercial photographer in Connecticut, working across three disciplines: professional headshots for executives and teams, fashion and lookbook photography for designers and brands, and model portfolio development for working models serious about their careers.

Corporate and team headshots and branding photography serve leaders, attorneys, physicians, and professionals across Connecticut and New York City — on location, on their terms. He is a Mentor in the Headshot Crew, the professional community founded by Peter Hurley, the most recognized headshot photographer in the world.

His fashion photography and production operate at an international editorial level. Published in Harper's Bazaar Japan, Elle China, Vogue Hong Kong, Vogue Africa, Vanity Fair Mexico, Numéro Tokyo, and Nylon Japan, among others. Campaign work for Adidas and global brand clients. Lookbook production for the Tokyo Fashion Council and members of the CFDA. Work on Times Square billboards during New York Fashion Week. He approaches every engagement as a photographer, producer, and creative director, planning not just the deliverable the client asked for, but the full range of assets they will need.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between
a headshot session and a portfolio session?

A headshot session creates a high production value image built for public-facing representation, the asset most professionals need across a website, LinkedIn, conference bios, press, and any other platform with a profile photo. A portfolio session is for models building or updating material for industry use, with multiple looks and faster turnaround for comp cards. This fashion experience makes me uniquely suited for branding work when professionals need portraits beyond their foundational headshots.

Do you only photograph headshots,
or do you do other types of work?

Headshots are one part of what I do. I also shoot fashion lookbook, editorial, campaign photography for designers and brands, eadership portraits, branding photography, annual report photography, and event coverage for nonprofits.

I need photos for my nonprofit's leadership team or an upcoming event.
Is that something you cover?

Yes. That work includes board and staff portraits, annual report photography, and gala or event coverage, priced by scope rather than a flat session rate.

Where are you based,
and how far do you travel?

I'm based in Litchfield County, Connecticut, and serve Greater Hartford regularly. My fashion and branding work is national and international, spanning four continents.

Do I need to come to a studio?

No. Sessions take place at your office, home, or event location. I bring the equipment and setup to you.

What does a session cost?

Investment is scoped to the engagement rather than a flat rate. Across headshot, portfolio, and brand photography, most clients invest between $600 and $3,700 depending on scope and deliverables. The page for your specific project has full pricing detail.

How do I know which type of session
is right for me?

If you need a polished portrait for a profile or bio, start with headshots. If you need executive branding photography, start with headshots. If you're a model building a portfolio for industry submissions, start with model portfolio development. If you're a designer or brand needing lookbook, editorial, or campaign images, start with fashion. If you lead a nonprofit and need leadership or event photography, that's its own page as well.

Do you photograph fashion work
outside Connecticut?

Yes. The fashion practice is editorial and campaign work for designers and brands, published internationally, and not limited by region.
